Ok.... that was the first time i ever lost, much tougher then any maps i played so far.
I had to try again.
I might miss a map in my descriptions but I was playing for along time so im not too sharp at the moment...
played on field marshall-fog of war on- supply and weather on.
Early on prestige was very tight, started a couple cores short so i would have some reinforcements.
First map tough and challenging - DV
next - lost some cores, enemy planes hammered me, I have 5 fighters and 2 aa, scrapped through.
Sink 9 map - enemy planes overwhelmed me a bit, jump my paras early to avoid loosing them.
tough terrain, take the last city on turn 24 sank all - baited destroyers south for ambushes and used my subs on the capital ships.
next map was a blur of very tough fighting, enemy planes hammered me alot. 2nd wave of planes got me unprepared,
cheated to save a fighter

.
dunkirk i think it is, has a typo in the brief- secundary -> secondary
Overall that was brutal, challenging, and pretty fun. The enemy always seems to have air superiority, and investments to counter this
cost quite abit more then i have so far encountered. It was very difficult to keep my cores intact and fight the air war and still have anything for reinforcements. I only reached the max core units by a couple unit captures.
I think this would be too hard for newer players but it was just about right, i think, for hardcore players.
on a side note: The objective discription on the para jump map was rather confusing. It states to nutralize eben emel, or something like that, and jump the para there. This led me to belive I need to use a strat bomber to nutralize a city wth that name,
which i could not find on the map...
I did notice the drop zone after a few turns, but I was looking at the cities wondering where eban was for quite awhile.
Anyways, good stuff sir. Thanks for letting me give it a go. I enjoyed it.
