Is there a way to surrender in a mplayer game?

Yup, under the menu options, there is a button for surrender. It will prematurely end a multiplayer game instead of forcing it to be played to conclusion.
This can only be accessed during your multiplayer turn though.

I cannot seem to find the menu option.

Is it by the right center part of the game when playing?
