Game slow after migrating to 1.05

the CPU consumption is lower than 100%, but the animation is rather slow...

Check the Movement speed in the options menu.

Thanks, now it is a bit faster.
But the animation of bob dust is still slow...

At what position was the Movement Speed slab? Was it in the middle like is in the picture?

Could you please, try to rename "Audio" subfolder to "_Audio" and check if the speed is now normal?
You won't have a sound, but it's precisely that I want you to test, if it's sound related or not.

I am having this problem, too. I've disabled sound as VPaulus recommended and ramped up movement and scroll speed and none of this seems to make a difference. Overall performance is just... sluggish. Every interaction w/ the UI has a half-second hang to it that is frustrating. It's been this way since updating to 1.05. I thought I might just need to defrag or something, but I've cleaned up my system and haven't seen any improvements.

Advice?

I doubt that it is related with 1.05 upgrade, otherwise we would had a lot of people reporting that.
But you can do a test. Uninstall Panzer Corps and install again without installing 1.05 and check if there's any difference.
Then install 1.05.
That seems to be a system issue. Maybe your system security is interfering.

Hmm, it's still running slow, even after numerous system cleaning/tweaks. I'm really confused what's going on. I guess I'll try a fresh install if no one has any other ideas.
