Problem with creating a multiplayer game

Hi all,

I have just bought the game and wanted to issue a multiplayer game, but it doesn't work I always get error messages. (Single player - at least the tutorial, I have not tried a normla campaign yet - works fine)

Description:
- I installed the game from the DVD (Version 1.00)
- I applied patch 1.05 whith choosing German as language
- in the start menu at the bottom it shows: Version 1.05 (Dec 1 2011)
- I can log into the multiplayer menue, I choose "Herausf. aussprechen" (i.e. issue a challenge) than a scenario, after pushing the play-button I get the following message:

"Das Spiel hat festgestellt, dass die folgenden Dateien modifiziert wurden und daher nicht passend für den Mehrspielermodus sein könnten: equipment.pzeqp Ihre Herausforderung wird als eigenes Szenario markiert. Fortfahren?"

I push "yes" and after a while I get the following error message: "Falsche oder unvollständige Anfrage"

I have neither changed anything in this equipment file nor installed any mod or what ever.

Does anybody have an idea?

edit: some further information: A friend opend a game, but I can not see it. In fact, I do not see any open challenge. I turn off the Firewall, just to check whether that has any impact, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix the problem?

It sounsd like a virus checker/firewall, connection issue.

No, unfortunately it does not help.

What I have done:

- I disabled the Windows firewall
- I disabled Avira antivir
- I looked into IE settings (i normally do not use it, one Firefox), no proxy settings used, in addition I lowered the IE security setting

Nothing changed! I CAN log into the multiplayer, but I do not see any open games nor can I issue a challenge.

If you can login, this should not be a connection issue. You say that the challenge actually WAS issued, just you do not see it, but your friend does?

Could you please send me your log file after you see that "Falsche oder unvollständige Anfrage" error? It is located in %My Documents%\My Games\Panzer Corps\Log\log.txt. rudankort@rsdn.ru

Sorry for perhaps creating confusion. No, I was not able to issue a challenge! And I do not see any open ones.

My friend can see open challenges (from other people) and he opened one for me to join. But I can not see it in the list.

I have send you the file.

One more idea. Could you please check your cookies setting in IE, and if they are turned off in any way, try to turn them on and see if this helps in any way?

I hope that issues like this particular one can be addressed in code, but for some others it is not so easy, so yeah, a FAQ would really help.

I've been selecting some threads for those common issues. I was thinking in creating one sticky thread like the Common Questions thread.
Give me a couple of days, because I'll have to go back and check all the posts.
