Allied Ai

Post by TheGrayMouser »

Hello, quick question

I finished the Polish campaign last nite and noted that I had Slovakian allies that were (im pretty sure) also at war with Poland. However, they semed content to just sit in Slovokia and do nothing til near the end of the game, where one or two units, with great bravery, moved a single hex closer to Polish territory.

What determines an allied countries activity? Is it scripted, or random or based on superiorty etc?
Cheers!

Great game, will try my hand at a larger scenareo tonite before i dive into one of the mega ones, still need to figure out diplomacy as well as naval units.

In this scenario the AI works with a general rules.

Slovakian units are rather weak, so they will prefer not risk.

Nice, I was hoping that was the case , ie the ai "thinks" rather than acts per a script.
