Battle of Piperdean 1436

A short break from my Ottoman exertions - this is a minor Anglo-Scottish battle of the 15thC.

There is very little hard information about the battle. I have found out that the armies were of similar size (around 4,000 men each) and that the Scots "surprised" the English by attacking them before they reached Dunbar castle (the target for their expedition). Therefore, I have given the Scots the higher ground and they are deployed ready for battle, whereas the English are on the lower terrain and still deployed in marching column. So this effort is really "inspired by" the events at Piperdean rather than being an attempt to accurately represent what happened.

Hi,

this scenario does not work for me, i got the message 1 side has to much leaders.

I had the same problem with the one too many leaders, but all I had to do was to edit the scenarion in the Slitherine subfolder for FoG Scenarios, by right clicking on the surplus C-in-C and accessing the leader qualities menu. No problem. Great battle by the way. I won with the Scots wae ha wi' Wallace bled.
