Am having the same problem with Panzer Corps - just purchased it and am having same issue with unable to connect to server errors... My internet connection is solid - can run other games and can connect to various services using a wide variety of ports and protocols.
I play FOG, LOTRO and several other online games quite a bit and am having no issues with other servers...
Help?

So I'm not alone, and I've noticed another thread from a couple of weeks ago in the main forum room about this:

Seems as though it's a problem at the server's end then.

Well, several people are reporting this problem and some are claiming good internet connections. I said "seem" not "is" - there is a difference. The only theories put forward by Technical Support for this problem involve slow internet connections. What I am saying is that that doesn't seem to be the case.

Am having a similar connection issue - am on a satellite network - MTU issue could be issue - the problem with our connections are latency related - for some reason your FOG server (on both the Mac and PC side) seem to work fine - but I get the not able to connect message before I even get to the server, much less take a turn.
I was able to connect on an office network with high latency, but a large amount of bandwidth and likely larger MTU sizes...
possible to open the time frame up a little more on the PzCps server?

Re: What's Up With The Server?
I've been playing the excellent Field of Glory for a few weeks now and have successfully completed several dozen multiplayer games. I'd therefore be interested in trying multiplayer Panzer Corps out again and seeing if it works okay with my internet setup.
Incidentally, I often get server connection errors during Field of Glory but I'm sure they are related to my mobile broadband and if I disconnect and reconnect the internet I can always resend the turn successfully. The same procedure didn't work with my failed Panzer Corps turn sends a few months back. I have a newer mobile broadband usb dongle now but I'm not sure what difference that makes.
Anyway, I'd be interested in playing a test game of multiplayer Panzer Corps to see whether it'll work now. If anyone is willing to give it a go, maybe one of my Field of Glory foes, then let me know. No unit moves need be made, but I'd like to see whether I can get my turns sent out without hitch and can successfully complete a game. Thanks.

Okay, I've updated PC and set up a multiplayer game, the War Games scenario. If anybody fancies giving it a go the game description and password is: testgame

Re: What's Up With The Server?
I should report that I've recently started playing multiplayer Panzer Corps again and haven't had any problems so far. So whatever the problems I experienced with it a few months back they seem to have resolved themselves. This is good news and supports the idea that the multiplayer gaming experience should run smoothly even for players with a less than optimum internet connection (I use mobile broadband with 3G/HSPA).
bones65, hi, the problems you're getting are not what I experienced so it may be a different issue, but I'm sure somebody else can help you with that.
