Feedback on DLC 3 (41) v3 - v1.05-beta2

Post by HeinzG »

Little bit cryptic, this thread title

Sorry to say, but I still get the error with the license-agreement page when installing this release. Instead of showing the agreement, it still says: Error: The specified file: 'C:\Users\Slitherine Ltd\Dropbox\Slitherine Installers - Christian's\Installers\Resoruces\license.txt' could not be found.

Ignoring this message and continuing, the installation works fine and I can start the DLC as intended.

Might be that it should read ...\Resources\... instead of ...\Resoruces\... ?

Yes ignore that - the installer is just a beta and will not be used for the final version. We have to change a bunch of stuff when it goes final.

Having a look at the 8.8 : despite being listed as AA unit, the description in the UI names it as Pak.

First Line is Pak, seccond line either Pak or Flak when switched.

As it is in the AA, I would change the first line to Flak

That is WAD.

First line tells you what the unit is. (type)

The second line tells you which mode you are currently in, Flak or Pak

Dont want to argue, Razz.

But the 8.8 the Germans used was always a Flak to my knowledge. When used as Pak, a shield was installed to protect the crew.

But I guess this is nitpicking

The first line is the name of the unit - use alt-n to change it to whatever you like. The second line is the current type of the switching unit. It should change as you select which to switch to.
