Checking unit info in deployment phase?

Is there a way to check unit details while in deploying/reinforcing?
I don't remember what heroes are in which unit and don't know which unit to overstrength.

I dont want to start a new topic - any way to deploy paras on gorund instead of in transports?

There is no official way. But it is possible to do using cheat codes.

1. Enter cheat code "air -100" (reduce the number of available air transports by 100 - most likely you will run out of them after this).
2. Deploy paratroopers on the ground.
3. Enter cheat code "air 100" (restore status quo with air transports, so that you can play the scenario normally).

Ok thanks. I feel bad using cheat codes even knowing its not really cheating.
Hope there will be such an option in the future. I want to use my paras on defencive missions sometimes.

Actually the easiest wat to deploy paras on the ground instead of airborne in aircraft transport is to purchase ground transport for the para during the deployment phase. Then the now "grounded" para will deploy in any ground deployment hex.
