I recently brought this product from you.
What you get is a "Sold out" version of the game: ie the cheapo version of the game, without manual.
You still display the original version of the game.
The "Sold Out" version costs £4.12 to be delivered to your door on Amazon. I've just paid £24 to get this from your shop and am not happy.

Sorry you are not happy. If you would like to return your purchase unopened we'll be happy to refund you.
The pricing on other sites is not something we monitor or try to match. It is lower that we sell for a d igital download. Our site should be the only place you can buy the game. We dont have any retail deals still in effect so any boxes being sold via Amazon must be some sort of overstock that made it in to the channel years ago. This is one of the reasons we dont deal with retail much anymore!

Hi Ian,
I'm a tad lost here.
You say "We dont have any retail deals still in effect so any boxes being sold via Amazon must be some sort of overstock that made it in to the channel years ago."
The game version you sold me was on the "Sold Out" label. This is a budget company publishers must make a deal with as it has a distinct image and is marketed and sold by them. It is common for publishers to strike a deal with this firm if they have managed to produce a popular yet now old game to increase the life of a game, a game such as Spartan it seems.
Here is one such company selling it on the UK version of Amazon, and I'm certain you would agree the price is much better than the exact same version of the game you sent me, but charged me £24 for, yet have the original image of the game in your online shop when going to buy:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Just-Play-Spart ... B0001U1S2S
This is strange: now the image from this company is only of the original image, last week it was this company but the game was on the sold out label, this is odd: I'd like to post the image of what you sent to me to show readers it is from the sold out company.
As you know, I brought the game second hand but was willing to pay £5-10 to replace the CD that failed to work. I was pleased to see I could buy the entire game for £4, including postage: note "including postage", on Amazon. Annoyed I'd just given you £24 for exactly the same cheapo budget version of the game.
I came to your site simply to ask if I could buy a replacement, the answer was not just no, but you ripped me off as well- not good busines as I look at the many other games I'm tempted to buy. Companies like you, AEGOD and Paradox are rare and actually have potential customers trying to find a company like yours, so treat your customers well when they find/discover you as they will stay loyal and provide free advertising: of the right type.
I'm a little belwildered as to how you want to screw a new potential customer rather than look after them: new customers help you grow no? If you were ebay or Windows I could understand this attitude, but not from a tiny comany laughing at the concept a monopoly position.

Hi Ian,
Sorry, I've just said goodbye to a French mate, we have spent 7 days drinking in Hastings, Robertstbridge (for the Pagan/ Religious/ festival/bonfire thingie a few of the Sussex villages and towns do) and finally back to London.
I feel very rough, but think I'll keep the game: you have replied and now I'm happy about the customer service.
Cheers mate, my whinging is over

Most welcome mate,
I may be still bothered, but I can't be assed any longer. Most would say "It's bored me to tears" but in my case it ended up "frustrating me to tears". As a plain talking working class Londoner, I just cannot be bothered any longer, it stressed me out, so the sooner I forget, the better. Slitherene never actually answered my annoyance but instead just asked if I'd like a refund. How does that end my frustration?
Anyway mate, enough of that crap.
As the French say: Prenez soin et je vous souhaite bonne chance
