Final scenario lay out, I have 2 German VH to his 5 Polish.
Both of our Germans played extremely aggressive games, and paid for it dearly. He was so intent on taking Modlin, that my Polish were able to sweep in behind him and take Lodz and Piatek in the rear. Insult to injury, I retook Modlin on the final turn.
My Germans initially were doing great. Me knowing the ridiculous obstacle Modlin is, I completely skipped it. However I too was too aggressive, but paid for it even more dearly. At one point with the Germans, I had 6 VH to his 1(Modlin). If I was smart, I would have kept my forces better concentrated at 5 instead of overreaching for 6. On the final German turn, it was down to 5 German VH to 2 Polish VH. The final Polish turn netted him THREE VHes though, ending the game at a terrible loss instead of the minimum requirement for victory.
GG I guess the tourny is over for me. I shoulda taken up Partisan uprising instead lol.
