DLC- Multiplayer ?

On the info page for each of the DLC it says..... 1 player
PBEM - No

Does this mean the base game has Multiplayer but the DLC add-ons do not !

The DLCs are designed for single player campaign games. The base game has a number of multi-player scenarios and there are also those of the community that can be downloaded and played online.

You can use any scenario as a MP map. But as they are designed to fit the SP game, they are, in most cases, horribly unbalanced for MP battles.

To get good balanced MP games, you have to approach the map, available prestige, setting up of the initial units, in a whole different way.

Hence the reason why we advice to play MP on the special designed MP maps, so the players are balanced against eachother.

I cannot comment much at this point, but there will be some new MP stuff coming your way... more news about this later.

In the mean time I recommend using and playing some excellent free MP mod maps, that you can find in the Scenario/Mod section in this forum. Many players use them, so it should be no problem to find an opponent.
