1.04 Update - Game runs very slow.

Hi there,

Once more I face a "game slow down" phenomenon.
That happened between game 1.01 patch and 1.02... Then stopped.
Today I updated to 1.04 and... It is "eine grosse Katastrofe !"

My game runs on a 4 core computer
under Win7 64 bits.

I am so frustrated... Any ideas ?

What you mean by slow?
The animations?

Hi,

Thanks for your welcome.

Here are the observed issues :

- Game slow at starting.
- Saves slow at loading.
- Unit selection is ok but as you give an order, it takes between 45s and 1 mn to be executed.
- Fight animations are slow.

Game is unplayable.

What is your opinion ?

Good news,

As I re-read what I wrote, I realised that symptoms are close to what can be caused by a real-time antivirus checking routine.
I deactivated temporarily the "real-time" engine and ... Everything came back go normal status so far.

Maybe you should report that to Mc Afee in order to see if they can provide you with a suitable solution.

I will keep an eye on the situation, but I am quite sure that I found the solution.

Thanks for reporting that. It makes sense what you've said about your issue. A Internet security program sometimes can cause this kind of interferences.
You can open Mcafee and try to configure for Panzer Corps. Create an exception rule for Panzer Corps. Maybe it work.
If you encounter any more problems, please let us know.
