Interesting enough, there are a lot of parallels between Diablo and Panzer Corps, if you think about it.
You slaughter huge masses of enemy units and suffer player death very rarely.
You slaughter huge masses of enemy units and suffer player CORE UNIT losses very rarely.
In addition to nameless masses, there are champion and even unique named monsters that are extra powerful.
In addition to nameless masses, there are unique enemy units that are extra powerful (Patton, Kutzebra, Kolobanov KV1 from Leningrad)
As you progress through the game, you gain new equipment (weapons and armor) that does increase the damage you put out, but does not make the enemy pitifully weak (they also scale up)
As you progress through the game, you gain new equipment (late model infantry and tanks) that does increase the damage you put out, but does not make the enemy pitifully weak (they also get new and more advanced equipment).
The only thing missing is the ability to name yourself in Panzer Corps, just like you can name a Diablo III Character! lols

I am intrigued, I was impressed by the 3 hour reviews people had written, noticing the almost every single person had got up to something totally different, including Horse theiving!kjeld111 wrote:That, and though I had low expectations for Skyrim ... Those are some extremely interesting parallels, Kerensky. Makes me wonder just how many PzC/PG fans are also fans of the Diablo series.Interesting enough, there are a lot of parallels between Diablo and Panzer Corps, if you think about it.
Perhaps in the future there could be a combination of the two into one game... Diablo Corps, anyone?
Having spent hundreds of hours in Daggerfall and Morrowind, and been disappointed by Oblivion, I was cautious at first, but honestly, after a couple of hours, I am blown away. An impressive sandbox RPG with modern/"AAA" production values plus I love Jeremy Soule's music).I am intrigued, I was impressed by the 3 hour reviews people had written, noticing the almost every single person had got up to something totally different, including Horse theiving!
Hey, I just got a Triumphant Panzerfaust of the Whale from my last Stalingrad run, want to trade ?Could be why both titles really appeal to me. Very Happy
I can just picture it now. People think QQ about King Tigers is bad, Diablo unit is gonna break the forums.
