Axis Allies question.

Post by stormbringer3 »

Is it possible to manage the Axis Allies, especially Italy, to a more powerful nation on a relative basis? Or, do the stay the same 2nd rate status no matter what you do?
Thanks.

Italy will never become as powerful as Germany in this game, but it is possible to greatly increase its strength through long term subsidies of production points from Germany. Same with other minors.

Also, you can start a game with countries at different levels of play/strength, eg you could set Germany to be 'very hard' and Italy to be 'very easy,' varying effects of production, etc.

However, if you wanted to experiment with various what ifs, you can also modify the setup/configuration files to give a country more strength, more technology, etc.
