Cannot play further than Jan 1st 1946 - can u help?

Although I cancelled the option "war ends in 1945" I have never been able to play further than Dec 1945. When in january 1946 the map scrolling doesn't work anymore and the options-menu is unavailable. Interestingly I am still able to conduct some fights...
Anyone a clue?

My last post in that thread hasn't been answered yet, but I'm guessing the answer is that there's no way of extending a campaign past 1945 in GS. Too bad.

That option is carry-over from CEAW, It ill be removed for version CEAW-GS 2.1

That's disappointing.

Of course I know thumping away at the AI until the Axis conquers the US in 1950 (done that, starting in the 1944 scenario!) is totally unrealistic, not least because techs top out in a way they would never to IRL. But pushing into 1946 or even 1947 is plausible, and personally I enjoy hounding the Reich down to its better and well-deserved end, however long it takes.
