New Campaign System Hiccup

We have a few reports of custom campaigns generating a message that says:

"Cannot start game because the required content package is missing"

If you upgrade your campaign to the new system and experience this issue, please make a post here. We're currently investigating the issue.

The Italian campaign is working properly from the first to the last scenario.

The Fantasy campaign is giving the error message again at the start of the third scenario.
I will send an updated file because in the re-issue of scene 1 i forgot something, that makes it impossible to win.

I gave it some thought what the differences might be between both campaigns:

Italian campaign has its own equipment file, efx file, extra units while the other campaign runs completely under the vanilla version, thus only a data folder with the scenario's and the modified campaign.pzdat file. All 10 scenes of the Fantasy campaign were created under v1.02. Maybe that helps.

Could someone confirm if the efx file is loading with this new system?
It seems that for example the custom units of nikivdd don't play a sound. It's a sign that the game is ignoring nikki's efx file.

With this new system we will not be able to combine cosmetic mods with custom campaigns, by using Generic Mod Enabler. Will have to add manually the files to each campaign folder.

Is it possible that "Cannot start game because the required content package is missing" refers to DLC 39/40?

Since i installed both retail versions i have not encountered that problem anymore with a custom campaign of mine.

The same problem with m Africa Corps and Modern War Corps . Damn on this weekend I have enough free time and would work again and yet all scnearios dont run.

I send my mod Africa Corps to Alex and hope he can help me.

Dinner is not a bad option, bluegrass, but why can't you play Panzer Corps? Technical issue? What gives?

Same problem! Built the new midway map hours before 1.04 was released, works like a charm, made a few changes after downloading 1.04 and the new map wont play, what really sucks, I didn't check since the changes were small, now I have 4 mp games on my play list that cannot even be opened but it is my turn! lol. My money is the scenario editor is modded to record the scenario as being made for the new maps and if you dont buy them you cant play the scenarios, even though they incorporate nothing new! Guess the thing to try is open. No just went and checked, even the old map does not work now! grrrrrrrr, but I am playing two instances of it that were already running and they work fine, so it is not about the maps, it is some kind of copy protection error that is out of control.

Calm down. There's no new copy protection scheme.
Issues with 1.04 will be ironed.
Just be patience.

Easy solution.

Buy the 1940 campaign and it works.

So which is more important, your time or your money?

I know, I know....... at least you have an option.

It will be solve undoubtedly, without you having to pay for extra DLC, to have things working as they should.
I'm pretty sure about that.
That's not the way Slitherine works.
