Hello again. I made a large map template to make a custom scenario. When I had completed the framework of the scenario, I went back to the map and cleared all strings, rivers, cities, fortifications, etc. I left only the actual terrain features. From that I made other scenario maps that went from mostly clear to mostly forest. I put them in a folder titled "Custom map templates". When I want to make a map, I copy one outside of the folder and title it. Then with Scenario editor, I make the changes I want. I encountered a recent problem when it came to "units". I cannot get them to come up in the Scenario editor. Even when I copy or cut the map and paste it into the Data folder of PzC game folder.
Now when I put one of these maps up on the Scenario editor, everything works to make the map but the "units" will not come up to put on the map. I know the maps are verified as "valid" and properly done in everything but whatever is keeping them from finding the "Units" file to put units on the map.
Any suggestions?

Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?

Are you saying that when you are in Edit, Units mode no units show up?
Click the unit filter button (somewhere on the right of the toolbar - don't have it in front of me)
Check that the options for what units may be shown are set correctly:
- the nation is correct
- units allowed according to the date of the scenario
From what you have described there is no systemic reason for the units not to show.

Yes, as strange as it sounds and seems, I have checked, rechecked, double checked and clicked these buttons over and over. I have even taken the maps out of the seperate custom map folder and put them into the game folder and the units still do not show up. This seems very strange to me since the maps all validate with no errors found and all the other Scenario Edit features work just great.

El Condoro, Yes they are in the "view" column. It is really a weird deal. As I mentioned before, everything in the Scenario Editor functions but UNITS! The maps are Validated as no errors before putting trying to put units on them also.
