About the Delay in DLC...
.....frankly I would much rather go through the wait of something I want that has gone through RESPONSIBLE quality assesment than the disaster Iwent through this week-end with SOTS 2.........TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO IT RIGHT
Re: About the Delay in DLC...
Yes, I was thinking about that, when I sensed yesterday that this DLC was gonna to have to be postpone a couple of days.doc99 wrote:.....frankly I would much rather go through the wait of something I want that has gone through RESPONSIBLE quality assesment than the disaster Iwent through this week-end with SOTS 2.........TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO IT RIGHT
In a way I pity Kerberos, they are also a small developer, after all. But releasing a game in alpha/beta stage it's something that I cannot understand how it's possible.
Slitherine/Matrix release only finished products. If they have to postpone they'll do it running the risk that they are known for postponing their titles. At least is more honest, and shows respect for their customers.
Hopefully SOTS2 will be furiously patched in the next weeks, and will be able to be playable in the next couple of months.
Thankfully to the best of my knowledge Slitherine never have gone that route....plus their continued support of relaeased titles will see them patch any issues that do come up.Shrike wrote:That's what usually happens when the money runs out. Throw it out, make a quick buck and loose any chance of ever getting your customers back after they discover they bought a pig with lipstick. I'm just glad Lordz/Slitherine aren't going that route.
IMO they have far better customer services than any of the big companies, a reason I eagerly purchase games with the slitherine brand without a seconds hesitation (that plus the fact I've not yet been disapointed by one of thie rgames!)
