If anyone plays 1939 over again, can you provide a report on Wyszgorod scenario? I believe it's the one scenario we don't yet have any feedback on.
A marginal victory on Piatek should lead to it.

I keep savegames of every mission. I will replay Lodz tonight (CET), get an MV and tryout Wyszgorod.

Wyszogrod on General level.

I could swear this is the Kampinsoka forest map. If you divide the map in half, all objectives are in the left part. I just have the feeling to avoid the right part.
A bridge engineer 2 AT-guns and a Ju87 have been pre-placed. The nearest bridges are guarded by polish cavalry, so i should cross somewhere else.

All units except for an SE unit were fully reinforced.

Round one.
Air attack on 3 cavalry units, 1 tankette and the infantry in Guzow.
Ground attack on 3 cavalry units, 1 AA gun, 1 Art, all history. Captured Guzow. Discovered 2 more tankettes and 1 AT gun in Sochaczew.
Round one Poles.
2 tankettes counter-attacking. One attacking Lowicz and one attacking a panzer on the left side of Bzura river.

Round two.
Air attack on 3 tankettes (1 destroyed), 1 AT gun in Sochaczew. Air attack on the infantry unit guarding the bridge in Mlodzieszyn.
Ground attack on 2 tankettes and the AT gun, all history. Moving forces further north. Send few infantry units east for probing.
Round two Poles.
One 7tp tank and TKS attacking my infantry moving to Boczki.

Round three.
Air attack on those two polish tanks.
Ground attack by pioniere on polish infantry guarding Blonie, enemy eliminated.
Two more units attacking AA gun guarding airfield next to Grodzisk Mazowiskie.
Discovered several infantry units around Osiek. Did full scale attack on them.
Air+ground attack on the infantry guarding the bridge in Mlozieszyn. Captured the bridge, pol inf history.
Round three Poles.
No attacks

Round four.
Captured Blonie. Eliminated the AA gun next to GM.
Air attack on units around Osiek. 2 pol tanks destroyed. Ground attack results in 2 more pol inf units history.
Ground attack on unit in Janow, pol inf history and Janow captured.
Bridge in Mlozieszyn captured.
Round four Poles.
No attacks.

Round five.
Air+ground attack on pol infantry guarding Boczki. Unit eliminated and town captured.
Air+ground attack on remaining units around Osiek.
Discovered and attacked AT gun close to Wyszogrod.
Discovered AA gun next to Grzybow.
Round five Poles.
The last tank close to Osiek woke up and attacked one of my tanks. And finally one remaining infantry also moved but did not attack.

Round six.
Air+ground attack around Osiek. Destroyed 1 tank and 2 inf units. Osiek captured.
Ground attack on AT gun next to Wyszogrod. AT gun destroyed.
Air+ground attack on Art gun in Wyszogrod.
Round six Poles.
No attacks.

Round seven.
Wisla town captured.
Remaining enemy units around Osiek dealt with.
Air attack on Art gun in Wyszogrod made it history.
First attack on the VH hex of Wyszogrod.
Other forces moving up north towards Grzybow.
Finally Grodzisk Mazowieski captured.
Ground attack on pol inf unit in Kampinos. Unit history.
Round seven Poles.
No attacks.

Round eight.
Ground attack on AA gun on airfield next to Grzybow. Unit history and airfield captured.
Captured Grzybow and Kampinos.
Discover polish forces north of Vistula river.
Air attack on units in Gorki and Pruszkow.
Killed last unit in Wyszogrod and captured it. Captured Wyszogrod north aswell.
Round eight Poles.
They are having fun attacking my recon unit who discovered them around Kobylniki.

Round nine.
Solidifying my gains at the Vistula river.
Air force attacks on enemy around Kobylniki. Managed to withdraw my recon unit :).
Round nine Poles.
I didn't see this one coming. Polish cavalry units attack my inf unit i left in Grzybow.
Three tankettes came out of the blue heading for Wisla.
Wyszogrod north re-captured by a 7tp tank.

Round ten.
Grzybow. Air attack on both cav units and reinforced my inf unit in Grzybow.
Wisla. Air and ground attack on those 3 tankettes. All killed.
Wyszogrod. Stuka vs 7tp tank = no more tank.
Round ten Poles.
No attacks.

Round eleven.
Grzybow. Both cav units dealt with.
Wyszogrod. Attacked an inf units next to the city.
Attacked inf units in Gorki and Pruszkow.
Round eleven Poles.
No attacks, a new tank appeared and placed itself in Wyszogrod north

Round twelve.
Attacked and killed the tank in Wyszogrod north. Attacked the inf unit next to it.
Attacked and captured Gorki and Pruszkow.
Round twelve Poles.
Two more tankettes appeared next to Wyszogrod north.

Round thirteen.
Both tankettes history. I am considering to attack Kobylniki.
Air attack on Turskaw.
Round thirteen Poles.
Nothing at all.

Round fourteen.
Discovered 2 tankettes and 2 inf units. The inf bugging me for few turns close to Wyszogrod is finally history.
Air attack on units around Kobylniki.
Air attack on Turskaw.
Round fourtheen Poles.
6 units moving towards Wyszogrod. A new unit spawned next to Kobylniki.

Round fifteen.
Air attack on most of those units, 1 killed. Placed a panzer next to Kobylniki.
Air attack and ground attack on inf unit in Turskaw. Unit history.
Round fiftheen Poles.
Few units moved but no attacks. My defense is backed up by artillery.

Round sixteen.
All but one are taken care of. Captured Kobylniki. Captured Turskaw.
Round sixteen Poles.
No activity seen.

Round seventeen.
Discovered more tankettes up the road to Kroczewo. Air attack on two of them, 3rd out of reach.
Did a little probe close to Warsaw, it's definitely not empty there. I suppose around Modlin more of the same.
Round seventeen Poles.
5 tankettes on their way towards Kobylniki-Wyszogrod. Too late i'm afraid.

Round eighteen.
Formed a defensive line between Kobylniki and the river. Backed up by artillery. No way they are gonna break thru that!
Gave the luftwaffe day off.
Round eighteen Poles.
As expected they moved to the line and didn't attack.

DV and 1405PP.

Remarks:
-An easy mission if you forget the right part of the map and just move along the left side. Keep your airforce close at hand, they do make a difference here.
-Surprisingly no AD around Wyszogrod. The artillery unit there should have strength 10. Do both and it will be a bit harder to capture the town.
-Harder would have been if all those units around Osiek would attack en masse after round two before i discovered them.
-Wyszogrod is a bottle neck from the north. If the enemy wants to come it has to go thru that bottleneck. It is simply undo-able for the AI (and without air and artillery support). When the player puts a strong inf unit there, backed-up by one tank and two artillery units, defense is a piece of cake. I crossed that river because i wanted some more action and to investigate what the AI was doing there.
- I feared an attack either from the direction of Modlin (via the railroad) or Warsaw, but nothing happened.

Alright sounds good. thx :)
This map is the 'easier' version of the follow up to Piatek. Similar to how Danzig North and South function.
So anyone who doesn't get a decisive victory on Piatek ends up here. Players who get the decisive victory go on to the 'harder' Kampinoska Forest.

Played with beta 2, as I couldn't make it work with beta 3. Colonel level.

This time, it is a mission with 2 distinct phases : first conquer, then hold (could maybe be made more clear in a more verbose briefing maybe - so that the player is advised not to risk crossing the Vistula and accidentaly trigger the counterattack waves).

The start of the scenario require a little bit of caution : crossing the Bzura can be a little tricky because of the decent cavalry/tankettes counterattacks led by general Wladyslav : cross river hexes or use Opel blitzes to cross the bridges at your own peril. After that, it is straightforward enough, you can basically roll over the left side of the map. Wyszgorod is surprisingly lightly defended. I do agree with nikivdd : str10 artillery and an additional str5 flak could make a more serious defense.

After that , it switches to a defensive scenario, hidden behind the Vistula, shorter and easier than Piatek. If you want, you can divert a few units to take the lightly defended towns in the Kampinoska forest. All in all, with the relative ease of the scenario plus the amount of additional easy town caputre PP should you use the eastern half of the map, it is a pretty good way to build back your prestige, as I suppose is the goal of scenario - after all, it is designed for people that struggled in the Piatek scenario.

I noticed an error on the text for a marginal victory for Piatek, it says "defence" instead of "defense". Defence is an acceptable spelling (especially if you are English) but defense is the more common spelling.

*shrug*
That change was made when the texts went through editing.

Current:

An impressive defence, Herr General. The Polish assault has failed to secure a majority of the crossings on the Bzura and the remaining Polish units are exhausted and out of supply.

With this threat contained, the time is ripe to eliminate it once and for all!

I think that's a choice to make - US or UK English. In UK (and Australian) English the 's' version is normally a verb and the 'c' version is a noun. Examples are:
'You put up a defence' - 'You were defensive'. (This forum is obviously American as it's putting a red line under 'defence'!)
Usually it's not a major issue as long as it is consistent.

Yea, this is why I don't really make a fuss over text issues such as city names or word choice. There are so many 'right' versions that are mutually exclusive and it's impossible to make everyone happy.
Bottom line is there is no game play effect, so I'm more than fine to let it'll stay the way it is now.
