D&F Army Question

The Sassanid Persians are not in the book but will they be listed as one of the armies you can choose from in Multiplayer-DAC battles? I forget the term we use for armies that can fight against other armies even if you stipulate that the armies come from one book.

The Persians figured in the battles against the Byzantine Empire in the 500s prior to their being conquered by others.

I am working on the following scenarios for the D&F module:

Callinicum - 531
Dara - 530
Yarmouk - 636

Providing I get time I will add in more. I enjoy doing up the scenarios - the main issue is information. Hard to find good battle maps (I am on a limited income so cannot purchase Osprey books and do not want to pester folks like Keith with battle names wondering if Osprey has a map for the battle) - still hunting on the web for a map and army OB for the Battle of Bosra.

I think the Peter Sides books cover two of the battles.

Sassanids are included as a themed army for owners of Legions Triumphant.
