ESC key finish to work

Playing on MacOS

During Ardenes campaign, the ESC key stopped to work, so no save or load possible.
The scenario is that one where you defend a village attacked from everywhere.
I discovered that if I open the casualties display ("-") on my MacBookAir, then from here I can press ESC and it works.
Quitting BA and restarting fixes the problem.
