Enjoying the Game

Post by SullyAg »

Downloaded BA and the expansions last Friday, and I'm enjoying the game immensely.

Played through the tutorial and the Western Desert campaign so far. Good challenge, had to try a few scenarios twice to beat 'em, still need a second crack at the final scenario with the Tiger to finish the campaign. The AI isn't bad at all, presents a good challenge. Love the look-and-feel of the game.

Looking forward to all the rest of the campaigns, including the user-created scenarios. Impressed that there's a LRDG mission available. Downloading user-created missions from within the game is a nice touch. Are there other resources for user-created missions, or any fan sites around?

This is the most fun I've had with a wargame since playing Ambush! back during the early 1980s. :D

Thanks for letting us know you are enjoying the game :). There are a few additional scenarios available to download here on the forums, some here in the main forum, and others in the design and modding forums. Generally anything not on the ingame list is either experimental, or the authors felt they were fun enough to share with the community but not necessarily polished enough to put them out through the system with their names on ;).

There are also those user campaigns which are still in 'beta' - like the cool random battles just out in the modding forum.

Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. Let us know if you have any other comments on the game!

Cheers

Pip

Thanks, Pip. Looking forward to trying some scenario design when I get a chance. :)
