Thank you so much for bringing this title back. I've gone all this time looking and waiting for a fun PC wargame only to get shallow console type arcade games or incredibly hard (and incredibly outdated looking) games (I'm looking at you Matrix). I mean, it's like they developed their icons, units and maps with crayons or something.

Having said that, I have to ask. Why didn't you chose to display the units in 3D and have them move? With today's technology I'm sure they would have turned out great. Even Panzer General 3D cracked that code which leads me to my next question...Why doesn't a lot of people like that effort? What was wrong with watching your detailed P-51 Mustang zoom around and strafe a target? Seems PG3D gets a lot of negative feedback and I don't understand why. Perhaps in the future you could give players a choice between 3D models and the static version?

Before I go, I want to cast my vote for a Pacific version! While there are ample games out there covering Europe, very few (if any) cover the Pacific. I actually had to install an old copy of Pacific General to get my fix recently after scouring the web for contenders. I can't believe nobody has developed a fun wargame that can match it after all this time.

So, thank you very much for bringing back the magic and I can't wait for your Pacific Corps release.

Ok, after digging through the forums I've found quite a few discussions on the 3D graphics and am comfortable with what the devs decided to do. So, we don't have to revisit it and have the same debate. (although I still like watching my army men march around)

Will there be developer diaries for the next installments? Pacifickorps in particular?
