Multi-player
If this has been asked before, I missed it, so sorry. But, is there plans to allow team play where you have multiple players on each side fighting in a mega battle?

Good point. If all three decide it is time to raid the ice box, you could be sitting a long while.Laxen wrote:...... and we didn't think that player would want so sit and wait for 3 other players taking actions between their actions.
Some are asking for that over on the Panzer Corps forum too - but same thing would be the issue there and even more so.
But still..... kind of makes you go Hhhhmmmmmm
When we started testing we realized it became so slow that you almost fell asleep. if an opponent if he is slow he could take 2-5 min having 2 more players would mean it could take up to 15 min in between all your moves. But he could also have more units so then that would be added so it might be more. I think ina an PBEM it might work but TA is Direct play and it makes it hard.

I must admit that at first hearing that PBEM wasn’t an option, I was a bit surprised and disappointed by that. Until I saw how “turns” work in Team Assault. Now I can’t imagine anyone every using PBEM with TA more than once – seeing how it just is not fun – and quieting the game they were in. It just would not work and wouldn’t be used. I think it would have only been wasted development time.
I think it was a good decision by Zeal to not pursue PBEM.

Yeah, PBEM would not be worth the development time. We used to have some kick ass multi-player shogun battles online was why I was asking. I did not think about how long someone may wait until their turn. Been playing HOI3 too long and other real time games to remember what it was like for someone to finish a turn, hehehe.
