With all the various patches, updates, add on units/sount effects, I have somehow run across 2 problems that I need your help with.
1. After downloading Razz's Sound Mod and AA/AT patch, all of my units no longer show the guns firing. They attack, the opposing units explode and take damage, but there is no graphic for my guns when they fire. How can I get that back.
2. I also seem to be running into my german pontoon units moving by foot (not truck) and locking up the game making me redo my turns.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thank you,
Thomas (aka Blown Z06)

The AA/AT mod is here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2884644
I assume you are using the Generic Mod Enabler (GME). Can you open that and disable the AA/AT mod and try again?
If that does not fix it. Did you make a backup of the equipment.pzeqp file? If so, you can try to simply copy and paste it into the Data folder.
Let us know how you go.

i am not using the GME. I have the game playing on 2 computers, but overwrote the existing file...I overwrite it since if you make a copy and overwrite the original, there would be 2 files with the same titling in the same folder, so the game doesnt know which one to use.El_Condoro wrote:The AA/AT mod is here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2884644

You couldn't have 2 files with the same name in the folder. The system does not permit it.
You can backup the original file, for when you want to use it again.
But everything is more easier with GME. Trust me.

Since VPaulus was/is closely involved with the mod and is a great source of help I will leave this to him where he can. I would suggest that when you apply *any* mod to make a backup beforehand - in a totally separate folder if you like (just remember where). It's the only way to be sure you can go back to vanilla, short of doing a full download of the EXE again.
The GME makes this process so easy because it effectively does just that and copies required files across when you activate a mod. Good luck and keep us informed. Cheers.
