Java problem

Hard disk died, but I had everything backed up.

Now, however, when I try to run 2.0 it says it can't locate Java.

Installed newest version of Java and even copied the whole new version into 2.0's folder, but it still says it can't find Java.

Sorry you are having probelms. You will need to reinstall the base CEAW game and GS expansion to get it back up and running.
