Not able to move correctly after unit evades

Post by Morbio »

In my latest LOEG game against Deeter I've encountered another bug (which I think has been posted a few times before in one or more variation).

I had an enemy LF in contact with MF Heavy weapon. I rear-charge the LF with my own LF. The LF evades (yes, I know it wasn't 'locked' even though they were face to face  ). I now want to charge through the vacated hex to engage some Ligurian foot, but I don't have the option of passing through the empty hex. Worse still, since I can't attack I want to rotate to face the units to the left but I can't rotate the MF H/W on the spot! So, restricted in moves I move directly forwards and still I can't rotate.

It seems that even though the melee with the LF isn't 'locked' it has still imposed movement restrictions on my non-engaging unit even though it has moved away.

In the same game, I had a MF unit deep in an orchard. It anarchied and ran through more orchard and into a ditch and a bad melee. This isn't supposed to happen unless the computer thinks the ditch is the same as orchard, which it isn't.

I think the rule as written is medium in non clear can anararchy into other non clear hexes . Unfortunaely gullies/ditches might as well be clear hexes in regards to mediums!
