Panzer Corps v1.01 beta 3

Hi guys

an updated beta 3 patch is now available for open beta:

Anyone who has Panzer Corps is eligible to take part. You must have the released version of Panzer Corps already installed to run this patch. You must use your serial number to install the patch.

This installs to a new folder. DO NOT install it on top of your existing game.

This allows you to run the beta plus keep your normal version live to continue existing games.

All PBEM games started in the beta will run on the test server and you cannot load up existing PBEM games in the beta. You can continue these PBEM games on the live server by running your normal copy of the game.

Please post all feedback in the beta forum.

Beta 3 fixes:
- New Editor strings were overwriting current map strings on all existing maps, regardless of whether they have been modified in the editor or not.
- Zone quick reference had disappeared from AI trigger menus.
- Restarting scenario during deployment or turn 1 caused player's core force to duplicate.
- Unit facing settings in the editor had been reversed.
- Fixes for Windowed mode on XP.

Beta 2 fixes:
- Fixes of most bugs reported on the forums since the release and during initial beta
- Claim game bug fixed in PBEM
- Fix for error code 41 upload problem in PBEM
- A few graphics fixes (main menu, Sicily crossing, KV-2 icon)
- Fixes in eqp file and scenarios
- Restart scenario option from in game menu
- Window mode from in game menu
- Editor : Reinforcements are configured in unit details popup. Use "Edit trigger" button.
- Editor : AI actions are configured on the Actions tab in Edit->Scenario Params screen. Use "Add AI Action" to create an action that will dynamically change AI behavior.

Is this an overwrite of beta1?? should that be deleted??? How does one proceed???

Yes because the old one shouldn't work so remove the old version

It would be best to remove the previous beta. It shouldn't matter but just to be safe its best.

For final version is it possible to have the installer asking for language choice? While it's nice to have the game now in german I would prefer to be able to switch to english? :) Nothing serious however ;)

Forget it :D

The shortcut is labeled Panzer Corps German but the game itself is in english :lol:

Do you guys have an idea when the patch v1.01 will be out in a final version and not beta?
And do you know if the games that have frozen in MP can be played or if they will be lost once you install the patch?

Hopefully today but final tweaking on the patch installer is ongoing.
