Multi player games

What are you doing to fix the MP games.

I have players who start a game and never move and others who refuse to surrender and then never move again.

We should have kick player button. That way we can free up slots.

Isn’t that what the “Claim” button is supposed to do?

But it seems not to work in the initial release – hopefully it will work in the patch.

We still have to wait 30 days to use it, though. Either increase the maximum games or decrease the 30 days. There still needs to be some way to manage that, though. For example, if a guy is sick or goes on an extended holiday. I guess just agreeing not to claim the game if he tells you would do. In any case, I agree with Razz that the current 20 games is probably too limiting when some players just don't ... play.

They have it set at 30days which is too long. Even two weeks is too long for some games.

I have a player cccbss who joined a MP game and never made his first move.

So the mechanics are in place – they just might need to adjust the parameters to it.

I was unaware that there were a max number of active MP games. I personally only like to play 2 or 3 at most at a time, but I can easier see how 20 would be used up fast.

And agreed, 30 days of no activity on a game is way too long. Should be about half that. If someone hasn’t played a move in 10 or 15 days – then they aren’t planning on ever moving.
