what I would realy like is a Trade game in the Medeterean sea in time of the egyptian, roman, and greek empires

What makes trade games fun is the negotiations between players and thse can be very hard if not impossible to pull of with the AI. I like the idea, but I just don't know how you would make it fun as a single player game.

Anyone here remember a game called Ports Of Call? It was a lot of fun and I'd love to see it set in the ancient Mediterranean setting! But it worked better in hot seat mode, as Iain said.
