Game only plays in corrner of screen?

HI
Down loaded "gold" version of game and installed.Fist time i went to boot game was asked ,high or low graghics so i choie high(my pc handles highest graghics on all games)then the message ERROR:DISPLY DOSE NOT SUPPORT 1028X768,with a box to click on which idid then the game appeared in top left corrner ,mutch to small to play on.I unistalled/reinstalled but same problem.what do i do as am verry eager to play this fab game?
