FoG on Gamersgate

Post by Darthvegeta800 »

I noticed FoG is on Gamersgate now which means I'll probably pick it up eventually.
I did have 2 crucial questions:

1) Will the expansions be published on GG also?

2) A newcomer can play FoG? Is there a suitable tutorial or the likes.

As a sidenote. I'm also interested in some other Slitherine games like Great Battles Medieval. Will these games also come on Gamersgate?

We've tried a few games on Gamers Gate but not sure if any more games will be added - that will be reviewed in a few months time.

This includes expansions etc so for now there will be no more games added there so you'd need to come direct to us for anything else.

Ah that's a shame. As I prefer not to spread my purchases over too many online companies/accounts.

Online purchase through Slitherine and/or Matrix Games was pretty smooth, no complaints. However having said that making your games available on places like Steam, Impulse, Gamersgate etc.. sound like a good idea when trying to target a larger audience.

Gamersgate

Marketing is key - you cannot sell games if only a very few people even know about it. That said, I do not know what arrangement Sliterine has had to agree to with Gamersgate. It does have to be cost effective.

Personally - I would try advertising directly to the asian market.
