DBAOL refugee

I gave up on DBAOL a few years ago and to my great joy discovered FoG a few weeks ago. Fantastic stuff! Tending to get beaten a lot though because I'm playing it as if it's DBAOL!! So I can't help comparing the online experience. The challenges are the biggest difference imho I enjoyed the ability to challenge people from a list, having read their bio, interests etc.. there doesn't appear to be that option in FoG.

I liked the way DBAOL received the turns automatically

I used to dream of this about 30 years ago - sad eh? the ability to play against any army and have it fight back. All we need now is 3d figures and terrain, various camera angles but I'm getting carried away.

Playing WRG 30 years ago it's great also spending sad amounts of time making up different point armies - the memories.

Anyway - enough already. Looking forward to playing some games.
