Fighting in Overlap "Engaged in Combat"?

Post by kal5056 »

If a BG or Shock Foot or Lancers are fighting a BG only as an Overlap will they charge off without orders to charge viable targets or does the "Fighting in Overlap" prevent this as they are "Engaged in Combat"?

You have to roll not to charge if you want to stay in your overlap.

Agreed. We had this in a separate thread recently; the consensus was you will charge off unless you sucessfully test not to.

the rules state that you can freely move off from an overlap so there is no reason you could not make an unanticipated charge by failing to not charge. alas if only our shock troops would listen more often....
