It hit me.
We could demolish a bridge in PG2, anyone tried in PzC?

That would be very nice to have to help slow down the enemy and protect the flanks.

It has been considered along with a destroyed bridge icon.

We can only hope...

But doesn't this require also implementing a way to cross "uncrossable" (big) rivers?

I assume bridge engineers will still be allowed to move into destroyed bridge hexes, but I can imagine a scenario where you don't have any bridge engineers (and no means to buy some).

So if this is implemented a method of (slowly) bridging "uncrossable" (big) rivers needs to be added at the same time.

Having big rivers to be uncrossable is a simplification that normally is okay in the same way you can't buy/repair ships etc - the time scope of any given scenario is assumed to be much shorter than the time required for engineering works.

But if a scenario allows you to blow up a bridge, that could mean instant loss. If what you intend is instead to create a delay, it must be possible for a bridge engineer to create a big river bridge (even if it takes three or ten turns) to do so...

There will be destroyable and undestroyable bridges. Then it's up to the designer of the map.

That's what is usually available in other games.
