Civil War...Rise of Rome... Round Four: Later Ptolemaic (Greek)
Civil War... Season 2

Rise Of Rome tournament to cover 4 games, with each round lasting 2 weeks, with an additional week being available upon request.
First round will be out the hat. Following rounds will play those on similar points, but random within three places higher or lower.

Round Four: Later Ptolemaic (Greek)

Start date: 8th August 2011 Close date: 28th August 2011.
The pointing system, hopes to encourage a more ruthless game, as is the nature of a Civil War...
So both players at the end of the game win or lose, remember to list out your points, especially those points gained in game by the additional bonuses.

Scoring
Win.......... .......................................10 points
Draw.................................................5 points
Loss within 5% (99%-95%).................3 points
Loss within 10% (94%-90%)...............1 point
Other Losses.........0 points
Additional Bonus for both sides
Capture, route or kill a (1&2 flag) general..........1 point
Sack and Pillage and remove an enemy camp....2 points
Capture, route or kill inspired (3 flag) general....3 points
It would be interesting to hear of tales of valour, or just how good your selection was, after the games.

i just accepted the challenge, but i think we should fight using Ptolemaic armies.

Perhaps fight this one using pergamene armies and set up a new one?

I know I routed 1 of Morbio's generals...I think he was a LH 2-flagger. Not sure if I got any others.

I think Camlan lost a sub-c (routed) and about 4718/11700 casualties
and i am sure i got my C-in-C(killed) and a sub-C (routed) off the gameboard and also lost 4064/11400 men.

It was a very good close game, and got much closer in the end. Peter had me on the ropes most of the battle, and only toward turn 7 [of 9] did I happen to stumble onto a rash of good dice rolls!
