Question about Operation Husky scenario
Is this scenario used in the 1939 Campaign?
Thanks. I wonder why they made it so difficult to get?Longasc wrote:Yes, but it is unlikely that you will play it starting from 1939.
Why? -> open "Library" and see "Campaign Path" in the Panzer Corps main menu.
Basically, you must lose Sealion 42 to get to the "Italy" scenario. Kursk sends you right to the Gustav Line scenario (~"Anzio" in Panzer General).
Maybe it is more a matter of timing.
The battle of Kursk scenario is roughly 4th July till 20th July or even 23rd August.
9th July - 17th August is the time of the Allied invasion of Sicily.
I quite liked to start the 43 West Campaign there, should have lost intentionally as Overlord isn't exactly what I wanted (see various threads about this).

I don't have a problem with the 43 campaign starting there, it makes perfect sense. The only problem is that you have no control over you starting force composition. It would have been nice if they could have worked it into the main tree of the 39 campaign.Longasc wrote:Maybe it is more a matter of timing.
