Hi Y'all
Well done to the UK/Ireland team, congrats to Triarius as captain and a big thank you to ianiow who helped us out in our hour of need.
As for me it is time for a break from the Comp cup as the LOEg season begins, Eternal Empire will possibly be here, bit busy on the work front and can somebody change the ruddy WWII thingymuggigs.
I will return in the future hopefully when Morbio has bought a new addition so we can try something else, until then see many of you on the battlefield.
Cheers
Eric

Thank you
A big thanks to Steve H8, Ianiow, Morbio and Eric for their sterling play (or being team UK should that be stirling?).
Also thanks to the RoTW for the nail biting final and Morbio for the organisation.
Like Morbio I am now away andwill be FoG-less and off the internet, excepting an internet cafe or two to keep an eye on the forum, from 28th July until 15th August.
Steve or Ian - are you interested in the captains baton?
Regards
T

After a brief hiatus due to my summer holiday break the final match is now completed. As predicted it was a resounding defeat for Hannibal's Parthian army with victory to Alexander's Carthaginian army.
Carthage (Davouthojo) 31/66 vs Parthia (Morbio) 77/69
It took 17 turns to come to conclusion and was proof of the old adage, you can run but you can't hide.
Thanks to Davouthojo for a great game.
