I find it remarkable that he also used an Excel list to keep track of strength points lost.

This should maybe give our designers a hint about improvements to the casualty list! ;)

Every turn (after the enemy move/attack phase), I write down the casualties taken for every unit ( -2 , -3 etc etc ) it seems hard but it's not hard work, just have the excel file open during the game and use ALT+TAB ,
then as you can see at the end of my AAR the sheet is filled with function which calculate total loss / reinforcement for every unit to the end of the campaign. Obviously if slitherine's guy are smart as I think 8) they could implement a real table of loss/reinforcement better the the one which is in the game now ...
