Hi Fracophones,

I'm wondering if I could ask for a favour.

My girlfriend's daughter has a project she's doing in art at school. In essence she is creating a claymation (similar to Wallace and Gromit). One of the characters is Pablo Picasso, and she would really like a English speaker with a thick French accent to do the voice.

What I would ask the person who is willing, is to receive an e-mail of the script and create a wave file to e-mail back to me. Literally, the script is 1/2 a page, so wouldn't take very long at all.

I tried to 'put on a French accent' for her, and I sounded like an Indian!

I'd very much appreciate this if anyone can help.

Hi ravenflight,

I don't know if you will be at the Britcon event , but in case of, there will be many French players able to do your file with you in real, and you will chose the best French accent you need;

hope to see you there;

Best regards

Monsieur Jesteur :)

Good idea, but I cannot get to Britcon this year. Probably not for several years actually.

The recording has been done, and a fine French accent it was. Easily worth triple what I paid for it :).

Thanks for all the offers.

Hello again all,

Well, Julian's French accent has been a huge hit here. My girlfriend's daughter has partially completed her three characters (Whoopie Goldberg, Pablo "Julian" Picasso, and Albert Einstein, and likes Pablo the best :)

I'll post a link to the youtube when it's up and running.

Sorry Julian, because it's a school project that has to be marked she can't have public until after her result is in, so it has to wait until about December before you get your name in lights :)

Thanks again...

December is fine. I believe the Oscars are in February.
