Love the animations posted. Do not see the need for more detailed battle. Do first expansion instead.iainmcneil wrote:It's not something we've seen requested to be honest so unless there is a huge amount of support such a graphics heavy and time intensive feature is probably not going to happen. People seem happy with the map animations as a replacement. While I can see the appeal it would be a huge amount of work - probably about the same as creating the first expansion!

I figured I'd throw out my interest at least. I'm still incredibly stoked that this is even a product at all. I've been missing this for quite some time. It was essentially PG/AG/Fallout for half a decade; PG/AG fell away and the Fallout franchise became bastardized. This is a truly faithful game. I'm excited to play it.iainmcneil wrote:It's not something we've seen requested to be honest so unless there is a huge amount of support such a graphics heavy and time intensive feature is probably not going to happen. This is old school. The good old school. I'm already feeling 15 years younger.Sharkyzero wrote:I figured I'd throw out my interest at least. as i requested before i like to see snow and rain. imagine Moscow 1941, you are stuck at the gates, you lost your chance for decisive victory, and here comes snow from the sky.

Actually I did bring this up, and requested it, in the much-commented post about future feature requests. I was dismissed as requesting something that was "controversial" and that no one wanted. Now it appears as though at least 2 people would like to see this feature. Understanding the issues of producing this in-game, it may be out of the question, but for people who recall this as a feature in PG/AG, I think it was at least "appreciated" with an option to turn-off. For those not familiar with PG/AG, it could actually help build involvement with their units and the battle.iainmcneil wrote:It's not something we've seen requested to be honest so unless there is a huge amount of support such a graphics heavy and time intensive feature is probably not going to happen.
