Editing Historical Battles?

Post by brianw »

Is there any way to save and edit Stock Game Historical Battles?
The motivation for asking is that I would like to keep the battlefield maps and armies - but be able to experiment with a few changes... just for variety's sake.

An example would be Marathon - it would be nice to recreate the Greek tactic of extending the line by thinning the center ....

You cannot change the map size. Otherwise just copy the folder of that name from c:/program files/slitherine/field of glory/games to my documents/slitherine/field of glory scenarios and then it should open in the editor. Do not copy it back to replace the file in program files, this may cause FOG to stop working.

Ok, thanks - I'll give that a try....
