Are you planning to declare war on Russia in 42 instead of 41?

That would give you time to take the Irak oilfields to get the extra oil. You will also have a good chance to knock out persia to get more oil and knock out 15pp of land lease to Russia.

I really don't understand why you are trying to take North Africa; you've got oil consumption turned off, you know. ;)
If I were you, I'd do this:
1. Build ARMs, MECHs, FTRs and TACs, and beat the shit out of the Soviets in mid '41.
2. Tech first. Without it, you're gonna struggle a lot.
3. Bomb London.
4. You don't have to worry about oil, so build BBs and CVs instead of subs. Your opponent will probably focus on ASW. Then you can knock out his surface fleet and gain superiority in the Atlantic. At least build BBs, because they are going to be about twice as effective as your subs, and cost only 10PP more. But be sure to have at least 6 BBs supported by all your subs before you engage the Royal Navy.

Ha ha...you are absolutetly right, the game changes pretty much without any oil limit. The only mission for Axis is to destroy and capture as much as possible. Never thought of it before....i must try a game like that.

Yea - there is that. But the Objective here is to drastically reduce the British MED influence. Once I destroy the MED contingent - I have Less to be concerned about. Although I am not taking Gibraltar, It will take a long time for an Italian campaign to develop. I am about buying time - for a GS type victory.

I disagree with you on that. I'd say once you don't have to worry about the Russians, nothing can stop you. You could easily bomb London and sweep the southern Atlantic to prevent the British and Americans from reinforcing North Africa; at the same time you'd blitz into the USSR.
Unless you really want to take out NA before USSR. That would be a totally different story, but it's not a very strategically sound one, I'd say.
And the Italians should be used to clean up partisans in the USSR.

Perhaps, but it is easy to take the Italians out of the war - and I want to minimize that possibility. Yes I do want to knock out the Med before Barbarossa, and I do think it's a good Idea - you cannot underestimate the British in the Med. I have played a game as allies, with a person that ignored the Brits for a powerful Barbarossa, and they lost dearly, as Italy did surrender and they had no 'mop' up troops. So the Western Allies had their way in Italy and France.

By the Way, I have found that in GS2 the Russians are really weak before the winter of 41. So I am not that concerned with a powerful Russia.

Try and encricle as many soviet troops as possible instead of mauling them down. Without a supply source they will be destroyed, much more effective and you can keep up the phase easier.
