Mac-Version
Does anyone know when the Mac-Version could be expected?

It is on our to-do list, porting will take time though, it is not something done in a few weeks. Think of many months... so we need to find a time-frame that will not interfere with support and the continuous development of this series, while doing a MAC porting.

If you have Mac OSX 10.6 or above you can use BootCamp and install windows 7 and play the game.glemmi wrote:That does not sound promising
If you have OSX 10.5 or below then use Parallels Desktop or VM Ware Fusion to install windows, although with this
emulation you might experience some "slowness" with games.
But perhaps you already knew that ...

I'm running in Boot Camp on a Spring '11 Macbook Pro and the game runs great on it. I'm counting the minutes until a native Mac port is available, thoughglemmi wrote:Thanks for that advice, but that won´t work on my 2006 Macbook with Intel GMA 950. I am planning to buy a new Macbook Pro at the end of the year an I hope that it will have enough power.

I'm currently running Panzer Corps on my Macbook Pro too, but would love to be able to run this natively (even via Cider or something similar) under OS X - hell, I'd even pay for it, even though I've already paid for the Windows version, though would be nice to at least get a discount off the Mac version. Anyone, just posting here to add my voice and to say Mac users *are* interested in a port that will run under OS X.lonejedi wrote:I'm running in Boot Camp on a Spring '11 Macbook Pro and the game runs great on it. I made this inquiry about a week ago. I was hoping for a Mac release in time for Christmas.
Slitherine put up a post that said forget about Christmas. (Which is cool. I'd rather have them give me a realistic time frame, rather than jerk us around).
Molve and I locked horns on Boot Camp and Parallels vs. Mac, and Molve hinted at Slitherine never even releasing a Mac port.
But all Slitherine (and now GameLordz) posts that I have seen have said that they are working on the Mac port.
So I doubt very much that we Mac users have to worry about never seeing a Mac version. I think it's just a matter of when.
Perhaps Spring will come bearing Panzers.
