Let's Play Panzer Corps (With the Devs)
Whether you are a brand new player taking their first learning steps, or a grizzled vet looking for an honest fight, we can accommodate your style!
How this will work:
1. Make a post in this thread requesting a multiplayer game. (example below)
2. When a dev quotes your post, that means we've accepted your game, and you are free to host it, and send us the password through a private message on the forums.
That's it! Thanks for purchasing the game, we hope you all enjoy it and enjoying playing it with us too!

Sample post:
Hi I just bought Panzer Corps, and I was hoping to learn the ropes in a fun and laid back game. I have about an hour of free time every day, so I should be able to play a few turns at a time. I prefer to play as the German player, and I would like to play this neat looking map called "Hylan Valley."
How to set up a multiplayer game:
Step 1: Click Multiplayer Button

Step 2: Log into the multiplayer server. (Same user name as password as your Slitherine forum user name and password)

Step 3: Select the "Issue challenge" Tab at the top, and then press "Issue challenge" button at the bottom.

Step 4: Choose the scenario you would like to try, and click "play"

Step 5: Configure your game appropriately. Choose your side, set your password, and leave a comment so we can find your game (there could be 5 The Frozen North challenges all posted at once, tell us which is yours!)

Step 6: Once you see your challenge listed in the "Issue Challenge" tab, send your private message to your opponent and then we can get started!

Love a game
Hi all
I would love a MP game with the devs; I was thinking a good fight in holland and belgium (low countries) I'll take the allies! my only PG/PC multiplayer are a million games of hotseat PG about a decade ago.
I'm in NL as well, so the timezone should work well
Cheers

How about one of the 10 special MP maps, any of those interest you? Battle of the Bzura perhaps?

After wining couple of multiplayer games I think I'm ready to get my butt kicked by developers now. Battle of Bzura (me as Polish) sounds like a nice cup of tea. Mr. Kerensky, you up for it? Also, are you by any chance from St. Petersburg Russia (I was born there myself)?
EDIT: Just noticed in another post that you are not Russian, but enjoy our culture (I support that
), sorry about that.

Sure host it up. Follow the picture guide above if you need tips on how to, and be sure to send me a forum Private Message with the password.
I'll play nice... promise!

Oh wait, that's the wrong smiley isn't it?

Hmmmm... I normally don't play customs anymore, but I did read about this one. I'll make an exception, sure go ahead and host.El_Condoro wrote:I'd like to play my Kharkov scenario as the Russians. LMK and I'll start the challenge. Cheers
Just as a note, I won't accept any more challenges for the time being, but if anyone would like a game, don't be afraid to post here anyways. I'm not the only dev, and certainly some of my co-workers can be... coerced into participating here too.

Sure, I've finished a few games, I'm open for starting a new one. Set up the game, choose your side, and PM me the password.KageToraUK wrote:I'm up for a game with the devs! How about Hylan?
Bring it on!!
@Doc
Yea GG, you actually almost had me on the ropes (my starting prestige of 2000 was dwindled down to 100 by the time the game ended, so if you managed to hold the line just a little longer, I would have been prestige starved. Thanks for playing, that was an interesting front loaded defense you had going there!
