Telamon 225BC - needs playtesting

Post by massina_nz »

Hi

First go at designing a scenario. Inspired by watching an episode of Time Commanders, I was interested to find out what would have happened if the Gauls (and the Time Commanders team) had've chosen an alternative tactic at Telamon.

It's a rather large scenario with a 50x50 map and over 150 units. And I'm not sure if I've got the retreat routes right, not helped by the Gauls being sandwiched between two consular armies.

Looking for some willing playtesters to test out the play-balance. Post a reply and I will set up a paired PBEM game.

Sounds like an interesting scenario. I would be glad to help with the playtesting.

Okay have set-up a challenge with a password = "lascar".

I think there are two obvious tactics for the Gauls, either station themselves on the large hill, which historically they did. Or instead attempt to take on the smaller consular army on the left of the map first, before taking on the larger Roman army to their rear. I'll leave you to choose which tactic you want to choose, and I'll choose the other.

There is a problem with the scenario file. An error message comes up stating that there are 3 overall leaders for side 1 and will not allow the scenario to start.
