Maybe you're not using the correct link to download.
It's not a pif file.

Sorry you are having problems. The file you are downloading should be an exe file not a pif. Something on your machine is converting the file to a pif, I assume related to the download manager you are using. You could try renaming the file to a exe extension and running it.

It means in most of the cases that you've a corrupted download.
You'll have to download again.

What is the file size of the this exe? It should be about 420 MB. If you tell us the exact byte size we can check if its fully downloaded.
