Hi gents,
I would like to know the different difficulty levels of the game, compared with Mods. That is, if you dont use mods:
Easy would be 1,
Normal 2,
etc..
And if you are using the Berserk mod:
Easy would be 2?
Normal 3?
etc..?
Resuming, a comparison of difficulty between official game and berserk mod, and even would like to know if some levels overlap (official hard level equivalent to easy berserk level, for example)
Gracias
Miki

Thanks Iain
Yesterday I tried my first Berserker scenario, set at medium level, and the AI won the day easily!
I bought the games very recently, and need a lot more experience in order to win scenarios in Harder settings... Simply as it is, the AI overruns my tiny nation always!
Its obvious I NEED to play a lot more (and don't ask my wife
)

Try playing big names as Esparta or Macedonia (sorry everybody, names in Spanish, but you'll figure out). They have good cities (specially Macedonia) and lots of resources. Watch out for those macedonian horse breeders, lots of $$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can also try Roma or Persia in the Grand Campaign (Puertas de Troya expansion needed). They're on the map corner, few enemies, some good cities and reinforcements from Capital City every ten years or so. They have good units (great hastati, great). Use your diplomacy a lot, too. Try concrentating in one front, the others can wait.,,
And above all, have fun!!! I have fun even when I lose (except in Football Manager 2005)
Bye.

Hi Duncan,
Thanks for the tips. Looks like you read my mind. This weekend I have played as Rome (hard level) and achieved the victory objectives after one bold and risky scenario begining. Later, as Lidia I have won against Persia and Bitinia (again, hard settings).
I'm discovering that the key is DIPLOMACY. Its so sweet when minor countries agree to become vassals...
BTW I'm from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain... Are you from Gasteiz, Vitoria? Encantado de conocerte.
