Tournament scoring resource

Post by Luddite »

Hi all,

The tournament scoring document on the FOG website gives me a '404 error'.

Can anyone point me at a copy of the tournament scoring system or explain how it works?

Cheers

Interesting, not sure why it is a broken link.

Essentially scoring is:
1 point for every 10th of your break point you have not lost plus 1 point for every 10th of your opponents break point you have taken plus 5 if you break your opponents army without your army breaking.

If you have say 12 BG and lose 6 AP breaking your opponents army you will get 5 points for what you have not lost (6/12) plus 10 points for what you have taken plus 5 for breaking their army so 20 points. Your opponent will be 0 points for what they have not lost plus 5 for what they have taken.
You can include decimals if you want but the key is scores either add up to 20 or 25 depending on if the game ends with one army breaking or not.

Everything was moved around in the FoG resources. Where did you get the link from Luddite and what was the link address?

It does appear missing in old system and there is no link to it in the new system that I could find.

Hmm...here's a question though.

How do you score for an army with more than 22 BGs?

We have a player with Numidians who has 25BG.

Each AP is worth 0.4 victory points.

Mr Ruddock has a good explanation for this. Its one thing he can convince people he gets right.
